Overview

A unique 3D stealth puzzle game developed entirely from scratch in the Unity engine using C# for Android devices. The game combines third-person/top-down gameplay with an innovative voice-controlled movement system. Unlike traditional mobile games, the player’s character is not moved using touch controls. A virtual joystick controls the character’s movement direction, while the actual movement speed is determined by the player’s voice. The louder the player speaks or makes a sound, the faster the character moves. Moving quickly generates more noise, which can wake nearby sleeping guards and result in capture. The objective is to help a prisoner escape from a heavily guarded jail while avoiding detection.

What I built

  • Voice-driven movement system tied to microphone input
  • Third-person / top-down stealth gameplay
  • Patrolling and sleeping guard behaviours
  • Security cameras and an alarm system
  • Escape objective and level flow for Android
  • Risk-versus-reward stealth built around player noise
